What is the biggest take-away and/or favorite part of your GREEN Program experience?
My biggest take-away was learning how majority of Iceland incorporates sustainability into their lifestyle and economy. My favorite part was meeting locals and hearing about their life experiences.
Tell us about your Capstone project experience and your journey, your team, the ideation and implementation.
My team consisted of some of the most forward-thinking people I have ever met in my life that are still my age. We all came from different backgrounds so we were able to incorporate a little bit of our knowledge into one big project. Our project was a collaboration of the tiny house initiative, renewable energy, sustainable growth within individual homes, and zero poverty.
How will you use this experience to advance your personal goals?
I wish to work upon this idea we created for our Capstone Project and use all the knowledge gained from learning all about Iceland's sustainable development, and hope to one day implement it in reality.
Where and When would you go in a time machine? Why?
I always imaged what an untouched America looked like before it became industrialized and urbanized.
