Words of advice-  safety Fourth,  show your weaknesses,  love others the planet and yourself.

I don't think I knew what I was getting into with TGP  I applied for this trip mostly because I felt my dreams ( to make the world better, to be happy, to learn and teach) were slipping away from me.  College has been a collection of difficulties for me, and I thought those difficulties would break me. This trip showed me not only a beautiful country and incredible people, but the difficulties we encounter our meant to challenge us, not break us. Thank you for the perspective and the experience, I wouldn't trade it for anything.

My experience with TGP in Iceland was packed full of stunning landscapes, unique adventures and brilliant people. I think I learned as much (if not more) listening to the life stories of locals and other travelers as I did in the classrooms of Reykjavik University, and the changing environment provided a very real and humbling example of climate change at work. TGP offers an incredibly well-rounded opportunity through this trip, and I'm excited to help others seek out their own adventures by being an ambassador!
