What is your story? What doesn't your resume tell us about you?

My curiosity and love for learning fuels me to take on new challenges and tackle them creatively. Doing so has opened up many opportunities and has allowed me to discover my countless passions. From snowboarding on Mammoth Mountain and running along Crystal Cove, to deep-frying a Thanksgiving turkey and playing the trumpet, my interests are extremely varied. I’m an enormous Lakers fan, and regularly go out to play basketball with friends, family, or anybody willing. I love telling stories, especially ones that make people laugh, because there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing milk running out of your 60 year-old Uncle’s nose. Curiosity may have killed the cat, but it’s led me to the amazing experiences, connections, and memories that have made me the person I am today.

Describe your dream job or career.

My dream job is to work to improve the lives of my community, as well as the environment. I want to work for a company who's vision aligns with my own, and focuses on sustainability. It would be a dream come true to be an engineer working on sustainable development projects, whether its consulting a client on how to improve their facility's energy efficiency or building a structure to satisfy a LEED Platinum rating.

Tell us about your leadership experiences.

I was the project manager for designing and building a mini rose float. The Mini Rose Float had to go a certain distance at a certain speed, and the teams were separated into the Chassis, Design, and Decorations responsibilities. My role was to coordinate with each of the team captains and make sure our project was going according to schedule and staying within the budget.

What is the biggest take-away and/or favorite part of your GREEN Program experience?

My favorite part of the GREEN Program experience was all the great and passionate people I met. It was extremely rewarding and enjoyable to be around so many like-minded people when it came to making a difference and their passion for sustainability.
